Introduction

This guide is aimed at experienced Dynamics 365 consultants and shows how to integrate the Maptaskr for Power Pages PCF control into a public-facing Power Pages portal. It is assumed that readers have knowledge of using Power Pages Design Studio and experience configuring portals and Dynamics 365 Customer Service. A common use case in Local Governments and Councils is a portal solution that allows citizens to report issues in their neighbourhood (in North America this is often termed a 311 solution). This example is based on the Customer self-service template and shows how to view cases on a map and submit new cases via a multi-step form that includes a map control to specify the precise location of the issue, which may be in a public space without an address.
